Hook Blocks

Since humble beginnings we have refurbished crane hook blocks in our Workshop. Alatas Singapore as a crane repair specialist, understands the critical nature and safety aspects of a Hook Block all too well and thus - with the support of our professional ALATAS Design Office and a highly trained & skilled workshop crew, believe we offer the most in depth and qualitative high Hook Block refurbishments in the Marine and Offshore industry.

All our Hook Block refurbishments are 100% DROPS conform and are carried out according to strict international guidelines, rules and regulations set by the various classification societies. Every completed Hook Block will be load tested and witnessed by the class as standard.

Essential parts for replacement, e.g.  Hook, will be sourced directly from the various hook manufacturers whereas other parts, e.g. worn Trunnion, Hook Nut, etc. will be fabricated in-house with full documentation and class approval.

We accept Hook Blocks of any size, with the biggest Hook Block size to date being a 300Ton Multi Sheave Hook Block.  But we do not stop there and our facilities can accommodate up to 1200Ton Hook Blocks including onshore load testing, with testing limited to max 2300Ton.
