LUFFING CYLINDER OVERHAUL AT ALATAS WORKSHOP
Customer off landed 1 x luffing cylinder from their Electro Hydraulic Hose Handling Crane for overhaul on TOP URGENT BASIS to our sophisticated workshop.
Upon arrival, we found that the upper end Clevis was missing as it had been cut as the pin was stuck and could not be removed on-board vessel. Furthermore, the threaded part from the old clevis was found stuck inside the piston rod.
Our workshop team immediately worked on the cylinder on round the clock basis to carry out the works.
